In a sentence: The Center for Black Educator Development (CBED) is a non-profit organization rebuilding the national Black Teacher Pipeline so Black and other disenfranchised students can reap the full benefits of a quality public education.
The current landscape: CBED is seeking to grow the national Black Teacher Pipeline through its focus on Career and Technical Education (CTE) with the goal of working with 40 Black student-serving public schools by 2030. As the organization pursues its national scaling effort, an experienced CFO is needed to develop the financial strategy, systems, and models that will support its ambitious goals of achieving national impact.

CBED’s financial models to evaluate business strategies and systems.

GROW
organizational sustainability through grant-making, capital campaigning, fundraising, and overseeing a quasi-endowment.
BUILD
systems and processes for financial auditing and accounting.
LEAD
the communication of financial matters with CBED stakeholders.
